Xolo has now launched a modified version of the 8X-1000 Octa core smartphone which has been retailing in the market for over a year now. Dubbed the Xolo 8X-1000i the all new smartphone looks identical to its predecessor and comes with a few added features.
The Xolo 8X-1000i smartphone sports a 5 inch HD (1280x720p) IPS display upfront which is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is quite a looker thanks to the all metal frame with a layer of glass on both sides - front as well as back panel. It's worth noting that the rear panel of the smartphone too comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection from Corning.
Under the hood the 8X-1000i smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa core Mediatek 6592M SoC coupled with Mali 450 MP4 GPU. This is strapped with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Besides that the Xolo smartphone also comes with a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion.
In terms of camera the Xolo 8X-1000i features an 8MP f/2.0 rear camera equipped with Sony EXMOR R Sensor and 5P lens. It can support Full HD (1080p) video recording at 30fps. This is complimented by a 2MP selfie snapper. To power the octa core smartphone is a non-removable 2000mAH Li-Poly battery.
Furthermore the Xolo 8X-1000i comes with a Dual SIM support (3G) which is a marked improvement from the previous generation. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. The Xolo budget smartphone runs on the company's own HIVE UI on top of Android KitKat 4.4.2.
The Xolo 8X-1000i smartphone comes in a Black Colour variant and is now available via Snapdeal at a price of Rs 6,999.
