Xolo has eventually launched the Black 1X smartphone at an event today. The company first came up with the Black sub brand back in July when they launched a mid-range phablet with a dual rear camera setup.
The Xolo Black 1X which was launched today sports a 5 inch Full HD (1920x1080) panel along with Asahi DragonTrail Glass for protection. Under the hood is a 64bit enabled 1.3GHz octa core Mediatek 6753 SoC with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of inbuilt storage.
Just like its other sibling, the Xolo Black 1X comes with glass back. However there are faux leather stitching to the top and the bottom part of the device to give it a plush and premium outlook. Xolo however hasn't mentioned details regarding the protection used (if at all) for the rear glass plate.
The Black 1X comes with a 13MP rear camera which comes equipped with a single LED Flash Phase Detection Autofocus Sensor (PDAF) which apparently helps the device to focus onto a subject in about 0.15 seconds. Further the 5MP camera on the front also comes equipped with a LED!
In terms of connectivity the Xolo Black 1X comes with Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano) slots. It basically means that you can swap one SIM card with a MicroSD card slot.
The 7.6 mm Xolo Black 1X runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with the company's trademark HIVE UI on top. Despite boasting a metal frame, glass back and a 2400mAh battery, the device is quite light at just 125grams.
The Xolo Black 1X comes only in Black Colour and is exclusively available in Snapdeal at Rs 9,999.Registrations for the first flash sale scheduled on November 6th has already started on the e-com website.
