Xolo Black launch to happen today: Here is what's known about the phone!


Xolo is gearing up to launch its new smartphone series, called the Black in India, later today. The company has already created much hype around the Black series and has thrown a few teasers of the smartphone that will get unveiled in a while. Xolo will be retailing this phone online exclusively on Flipkart, and offline via Vodafone store.

While there is still time for the phone to get launched, let's take a look at its rumored specifications and known features.

As noted in the official teaser video highlighting design elements, the Black phone will come with a smudge and stain-free design. The video highlighted that the smartphone will be resistant to accidental water spillage damages. The phone also seems to come in a uni-body design with curved edges.

Other videos put up by the company have highlighted the camera features of the Xolo Black phone. We know already that the phone will feature dual-camera set-up with an LED flash paced in the middle of the rear cameras. The company has also revealed that the camera will offer superfast auto-focus feature.

The Black is believed to run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under the company's native Hive 1.5 UI. On the connectivity front, it is also said to come with support for 4G-LTE connectivity.

The company is yet to reveal the price, however, rumors have it that the phone will be priced below Rs 15,000.
