You can't buy OnePlus 5 in the US; OnePlus 5T could be on the way
Last week, OnePlus 5 had gone out of stock in the US and was available in limited quantities globally.
While no official announcement has been made, the OnePlus 5T is believed to launch before long. We have already seen a couple of alleged renders of the smartphone.

Furthermore, OnePlus's current flagship OnePlus 5 had gone out of stock in the US and was available in limited quantities globally. Now, it seems like the Chinese manufacturer has no intention to restock the smartphone. We say so as the US website of the company doesn't even show the 'Buy' button for OnePlus 5. Hence, we assume that a new handset i.e. OnePlus 5T is coming soon.
Notably, one can only buy OnePlus smartphones through the company's official website in the US. This means OnePlus 5 is no longer available for purchase in the country.
Talking about the OnePlus 5T, it is said to feature a full-screen design with almost non-existent bezels. Going by the existing speculations, the smartphone will come with a 6-inch display with the screen resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. Keeping in the line with the current trend, the display is likely to have an aspect ratio of 18:9.
While none of the leaked renders have shown OnePlus 5T's rear panel, we wouldn't be surprised if a dual camera setup is present at the back. We are also expecting a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the phone.
If you recall, OnePlus 3 was launched in June 2016, while the company introduced the OnePlus 3T just five months later in November. Hence it is only natural for OnePlus to follow its launch pattern.
That being said, we are still doing just guesswork. Unless we get the information straight from the horse's mouth, the chances are still 50/50.
