You could get a free Google Home Mini by pre-ordering Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL

Finally, the much awaited day is here. Google is all set to launch its Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL tonight.

Except for the smartphones, the company is expected to also introduce a number of hardware products including the Pixelbook, a mini version of the Google Home and the next-gen Daydream VR headset. Earlier today we reported about the leaked picture of the Google Home Mini speaker. Now, just hours away from the launch, Best Buy Canada has leaked the pre-order promos of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Well, these promos have revealed a pretty exciting information. Apparently, those who will pre-order the aforementioned smartphones will get the Google Home Mini smart speaker for free. Sounds like a great deal, since it was speculated to carry a price tag of $49 (approximately Rs. 3,200).

While we know pretty much everything about the upcoming Pixel devices, the same can't be said for the Google Home Mini. The only thing that has come to light is that unlike the original Google Home, its mini variant wouldn't be a wireless device. Also, the Home Mini appears to sport a fabric material, as seen from the picture.

As for functionalities, it can be used for scheduling, setting reminders and grabbing news and more.

The pictures also show both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 smartphones and they match with all the recent leaks. So there is a huge chance that we are looking at the actual renders of the phones. In any case, all our doubts will be cleared in a few hours.
