Your Old OnePlus One Will Become New With This Latest Update!
OnePlus One users will be glad to know that the phone is getting the Cyanogen OS 13, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Marshmallow flavor will begin rolling out via an over-the-air update on the One smartphone, which changed the market dynamics when it had launched back in 2015.
OnePlus announced on its forums that, "Our friends over at Cyanogen have informed us that CM 13.0 (ZNH0EAS26M) based on Marshmallow will drop starting tomorrow. The rollout will be staged so only some of you (random) will get it at first, and as always, patience is appreciated."

The Cyanogen OS 13 with Android 6.0.1 brings important improvements and bug fixes to the OS. With this new update, users of OnePlus One will be able to use the battery saving Doze mode to have a better battery experience, and deep integration to fingerprint scanning tech for accessing protected content.It brings new folder UX for viewing protected content.
The update removes Whisperpush capability for encrypted SMS globally, which doesn't have any replacement. The Advanced mode in the Setting, the Quick Settings options in the Notification Drawer tab, and Quick unlock in the LockScreen settings have been removed. It doesn't allow a protected app to be launched via Play Store.

Also, it has a new Snap Camera based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon camera, and the Camera2 app for those devices that do not support the Snap app.
The OnePlus One owners should receive the update arrive over the coming days.
