With YU entering offline retail starting today it might mark an end to miseries for a number of YU fans who have failed to get their hands on the device thanks to those momentary flash sales. Additionally the YU smartphone namely Yunique, Yuphoria and Yureka Plus will be VoI (Voice over LTE) enabled and will retail for Rs 6,499, Rs 7,499 and Rs 10,999 respectively via Reliance Retail Stores.
The partnership with YU will also help customers get a hands on experience of the products before buying them. Despite the massive popularity of online retail a majority of Indian are still afraid to make a purchase of electronics goods online. Hence the new move will help YU tap onto newer market. Nevertheless the biggest question still remains - With YU going offline, won't this affect the sales of their mother brand Micromax?
