Yu Yunique Smartphone Launched in India Today: Available Exclusively on Snapdeal at Rs 4,999

YU finally launched their budget device in India today, after a ton of teasers! Dubbed the YU YUNIQUE, the device flaunts almost all found in the company's highly successful Yuphoria smartphone. The new device only lacks in the RAM and the internal storage department.

Sporting 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, the YU YUNIQUE can be referred to a smaller sibling of the YU Yuphoria. Additionally YU has also tried make the YUNIQUE little different from the Yuphoria by stripping it of the metal rim (Silver/Gold) found in the Yuphoria. It goes without saying that the new device from YU Televentures is also priced lower too.

YU has priced the YUNIQUE at Rs 4,999 thereby placing it in direct competition with the Micromax Spark. The device though unlike Yuphoria will go on sale exclusively on Snapdeal. Rather the e-commerce giant had spilled the beans a few hours before the launch by hosting the device on their website!

In terms of specs, the YUNIQUE features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC along with a 5 inch HD display on the front, 8MP f2.0 rear camera and 2MP front snapper with 83 degree wide angle view. The battery is modest at 2000mAh. The smartphone will go on sale from the 15th of September on Snapdeal via Flash Sale. Registration for the sale has already started from 6PM today.
