After the successful entry of Yureka Black, Yu Mobiles, a subsidiary of Micromax Informatics, today has yet again announced a new smartphone that will be an addition to the iconic Yureka series.
Dubbed as Yu Yureka 2, the smartphone is priced at Rs 11,999 and the smartphone will be exclusively available during the Flipkart's Big Billion Day on 20th September. "The new smartphone comes with ravishing looks and best-in-class specs in the range," the company said in a media release.
Building on the unprecedented success of Yureka Black, Yu is aiming to give consumers an innovative device with magnificent user experience, great specs, and other desirable features.

Display, Processors, RAM and Storage
The Yu Yureka 2 sports a metal body and comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display and 2.5D glass for added protection. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor which is paired with 4GB of RAM. The handset offers 64GB of built-in storage.
As for the optics, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera also comes with features like night mode, beauty mode, multi shots and others.
Battery and Software
The device is backed by a 3930mAh battery, and the company claims to deliver music playback of more than 24 hours. It also supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging. Yureka 2 runs on Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box
In any case, with this launch, Yu Yureka 2 becomes the sixth smartphone under the Yureka series. Previously the company launched the Yu Yureka, Yureka Plus, Yureka Note, Yureka S and Yureka Black.
Furthermore, now that the smartphone has been announced, it will be going up against a wide range of budget Android smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Lenovo K8 Note amongst others.
