According to Yu CEO Rahul Sharma, the pending Cyanogen OS 12.1 update based on Android 5.1 for both the Yureka and Yuphoria devices will be rolled out soon as the update is in the final phase of testing.
On the update, Rahul Sharma said, "A very limited set of devices had issues with proximity sensor. We have addressed this now and will be providing patches which include the auto calibration of proximity sensor."
"We also have an updated firmware for the keyboard to improve typing and gestures. Additionally, the entire camera stack has been rebuilt with reworked camera tunings. This will greatly improve the camera to capture more details under various lighting conditions."
He added, "I am most excited to announce that CyanogenMOD 12.1 (based on Android 5.1) nightlies are now available for the YU community! CyanogenMOD is the base on which Cyanogen OS is created. CyanogenMOD is actively supported by a large spectrum of contributors from around the world."
