ZTE Blade A3 with dual selfie cameras, 4,000mAh battery launched

    ZTE has launched a new smartphone called Blade A3 in China. Priced at just 799 Yuan (approximately Rs. 7,800), the smartphone comes with pretty impressive specs and features.

    The ZTE Blade A3 has is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD TFT display with the pixel density of 720p. The display is covered with a 2.5D curved glass on top. As for the processor, the smartphone makes use of a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The device offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage space. The storage expandable as the Blade A3 has a triple card slot.

    The main USP of the new ZTE handset is the dual cameras on its front. The dual selfie camera system is a combination of a 5MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. Both the sensors work together to capture portrait shots. The cameras are also accompanied by a soft flash for taking pictures in low-light conditions.

    The Blade A3 also features a 13MP rear-facing camera with an LED flash.

    On the software front, the smartphone arrives pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, which is layered with ZTE's own UI on top.

    Another major highlight of the ZTE Blade 3 is its large battery of 4,000mAh. The battery is expected to easily last a day's usage.

    In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers usual features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a micro-USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as a Face Unlock feature which is claimed to be fast and safe.

    The ZTE Blade 3 is offered in Glacier Blue and Obsidian Black color options.
