The Chinese smartphone maker ZTE is been reported to work on a new smartphone dubbed -Blade A606- the smartphone has been spotted in the wild, with the expected pricing and configuration.
The leaked image showcased the upcoming smartphone in Grey colour and it seems that the Blade A606 will sport a metal body design. While looking at the image we didn't notice the biometric scanner on the back panel of the phone, neither on the front.
A speaker grill and the brand logo of ZTE are also acquiring their place on the rear panel. Apart from the speakers and the logo, there is a single camera sensor placed vertically at the top left corner of the phone's back along with a LED flash.
According to leak via Slashleaks, the ZTE dubbed Blade A606 is expected to be launched with a 5.45-inch HD display with the resolution of 720x1440 pixels and with the aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is said to be powered by a MediaTek 6739 clubbed 1.3 GHz quad-core processor.
The Blade A606 is expected to come with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, it's not cleared whether it will be expanded via microSD card or not.
As far as cameras concern, the smartphone will house a single sensor 5-megapixel camera on the rear along with a LED flash. On the front, the device is expected to deliver a 2-megapixel front-facing selfie camera.
The ZTE Blade A606 will be backed by a 2,600 mAh battery and will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Design wise the smartphone looks slims and there are volume rockers and the power button on the right side of the device. The bezels seem to be less on the sides of the screen.
The Blade A606 is expected to come with a dimension of 146.3 x 69.2 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 140 grams. This could be a budget phone from ZTE as the leak suggests that the smartphone is expected to come with a price tag of 799 Yuan (approximately Rs 8,277).
Let's see how ZTE Blade A606 will compete in the market on its launch, as we know there are rival competitors like Xiaomi Mi which already have Redmi 5 which comes under the same price range and offer better specifications, in terms of camera and processor.
However, there is still no further information when ZTE is going to launch this smartphone. So it's better to take this information with the pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement.
