ZTE launches Blade V9, Blade V9 Vita and Tempo Go smartphones at MWC 2018
Tempo Go is ZTE's first Android Go smartphone that carries a price tag of $79.99 (approximately Rs. 5,172)
ZTE has launched three new phones called Blade V9, Blade V9 Vita and Tempo Go at MWC 2018. As suggested by the name, Tempo Go is the company's first Android Go smartphone that carries a price tag of $79.99 (approximately Rs. 5,172). The Blade V9 and Blade V9 Vita, on the other hand, are mid-range smartphones.

The ZTE Blade V9 is priced at €269 (approximately Rs. 21,427), while the Blade V9 Vita is priced at €179 (approximately Rs. 14,260). As for availability, the Blade V9 and V9 Vita will go on sale in select markets at launch; parts of Europe, Mexico, and China. However, the Blade V9 could also make its way to the US market as it had received the FCC certification.
ZTE Tempo Go
The ZTE Tempo Go is powered by a 1.1 GHz processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The storage space can be further expanded using the dedicated microSD card. The smartphone is fitted with a 5-inch display with a screen resolution of 480×854 pixels.
It runs on Android Oreo Go Edition and features a 5MP rear-facing camera. The Tempo Go will be available in the US and some other markets as well.
ZTE Blade V9
The ZTE Blade V9 comes with a metal chassis sandwiched between two glass panels. It sports a 5.7-inch 18:9 display with a screen resolution of 1,440×2,160 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone makes use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset that is clocked at 1.8GHz.
The Blade V9 is offered in two memory variants; 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone is backed by a 3,100mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the phone offers a dual rear camera setup that comprises of a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. At the front, there is an 8MP selfie snapper.
The ZTE Blade V9 phone arrives with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
ZTE Blade V9 Vita
The Blade V9 Vita is basically the same phone, but with slightly smaller size and watered-down specs. The smartphone has a 5.45-inch display with the aspect ratio of 18:9. It comes equipped with a Snapdragon 435 processor with the clock frequency of 1.4GHz.
There are two memory variants of the phone; 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, and 3GB RAM and 32GB default storage. Surprisingly though, the Blade V9 Vita packs a bit larger battery of 3,200mAh.
The smartphone is also equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. There is a 5MP camera at the front for selfies.
