ZTE continues to focus on affordable smartphone market, unveils ZTE Grand X3 and ZTE Avid Plus
ZTE has unveiled new budget smartphones and made other announcements at the ongoing CES expo at Las Vegas. The company continues to push in to the American market as well as is expanding the reach of Nubia to other countries. It announced two new smartphones dubbed the ZTE Grand X3 and ZTE Avid Plus for launch this year to take on its rival smartphone companies.
ZTE Grand X3
The Grand X3 falls under ZTE's Grand X series that is known to be an affordable option for consumers. The third generation model to the series features a 5.5-inch 720p screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB. Other specs include an 8MP rear snapper coupled with a 2MP front-facing camera and a 2080mAh battery to run the juices for a day.

ZTE mentioned that the phone offers superior audio using the Dolby Audio technology. The smartphone is priced at a super affordable price of $129.99 without contract in the US, and has been slated for a launch later this year.
ZTE Avid Plus
The ZTE Avid Plus, on the other hand, is an even more affordable smartphone. It is priced at $114.99, and has lower-end specs than the Grand X3. You get a 5-inch screen with 480 x 854 pixels resolution, a 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with an expansion capacity of up to 32GB with microSD card. Other features include a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP front-facing snapper and a 2300mAh battery.
