ZTE unveils new buget smartphone with iPhone 14 Pro-esque camera module

ZTE recently dropped a new smartphone in China. The ZTE Axon 50 Lite arrives as the second smartphone in the line-up, following the ZTE Axon 50 Ultra, which was unveiled in China earlier this year.

The ZTE Axon 50 Lite features a large battery, triple-camera setup, and an octa-core processor. However, one of this budget phone's biggest highlight is its slim design and iPhone-like camera module on the back.

ZTE Axon 50 Lite Pricing, Availability

ZTE is set to release the Axon 50 Lite in Mexico according to Gizmochina. The ZTE Axon 50 Lite price is set at MXN 4299 (roughly Rs 20,700) for the sole 4GB/256GB model.

The ZTE Axon 50 Lite is offered in Green, Black, and Purple shades. As of now, there is no word about its availability outside Mexico, although the device won't be arriving in India.

ZTE Axon 50 Lite Specifications

The ZTE Axon 50 Lite is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The phone also features 256GB of storage, up to 10GB of which can be used as virtual RAM. The device packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. The device runs Android 13 with ZTE's MyOS UI skin on top.

The Axon 50 Lite sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. For optics, the handset gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor and two 2 MP cameras for depth sensing and macro shots. The triple-camera design on the back is like that of the iPhone 14 Pro.

Up front, the handset opts for an 8 MP selfie camera. The ZTE Axon 50 Lite features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options on the device include 5G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and more.
