Ahead of Rio Olympics 2016, Lenovo's Zuk has announced Zuk Z2 Rio Edition smartphone in China today. The Rio Olympic 2016 take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from the 5th to 21 August 2016.

Initially, this smartphone was launched earlier in June at an event in China. Talking about the specifications, the Zuk Z2 sports a 5-inch Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Further, the Zuk Z2 is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz along with Adreno 530 as GPU.

Moreover, this smartphone comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM with no expansion option in it. Also, this high-end device flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, dual mode focus and 8MP front facing the camera with 78.9-degree wide angle lens.

On the software side, the Zuk Z2 is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of ZUI 2.0 out of the box. Talking about the connectivity options, it supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB 2.0 Type-C on board. At last, the above hardware is powered by a 3500mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The Zuk Z2 Rio Edition will be available starting from August 2nd in Black and White color variant at a price tag of 1599 yuan (approx Rs. 16,100).
