ZUK? Heard of this company before? If not no worries. You must have heard of Lenovo right? Yes the ZUK is sub brand of the Chinese company and the first device from their stable would be the ZUK Z1.

ZUK Z1 Renders revealed: Thanks to the Company's CEO Chang Cheng!

Boasting some powerful specs under the hood the Z1 has gained quite a popularity worldwide despite not being officially launched by the company. But even then most of the specifications of the flagship are known as of now. The device is supposed to sport the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 under the hood along with a 3GB of RAM. The front would feature a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080) display along with a home button featuring a U touch ID. The camera on the back is 13MP unit but lacks OIS. Plus there will be a 4000 mah battery, 16/32GB of on board storage and 4G LTE connectivity.

Looking at the specs, one can easily understand that it's rather good flagship in the making. The best part is that the company has tied up with Cyanogenmod to provide the ROM for the device. That's quite a good news since the VIBE UI of Lenovo was not quite up to everyone's taste.

Today the ZUK CEO leaked an image of the back of the new device which clearly shows the USB Type C port. This is a cool feature in a device which is supposed to be priced under $300! The USB Type C is not only reversible but also provides higher copy speeds and faster charging time. This port was first seen in a device of LeTV dubbed the LeTV X600. Even the latest generation One Plus One is supposed to sport this new technology.
