Nokia 500 Receives Belle OS update
Nokia could be found hunching at the end of previous year with the manufacturers making very less at the headlines. The reason for it can now be understood by the headlines Nokia made recently. With its plans to have the major releases scheduled at MWC, Nokia doesn’t seem to stop surprising its customers.
This is for all those who thought Nokia forgot its Nokia 500 model handset when nothing was heard about its update to a higher operating system version, as announced for other variant models. Maybe a bit late, but Nokia finally announces the belle update for the Nokia 500.
Videos describing how to update the Nokia 500 with its latest Belle OS is already uploaded in the supported sites. The handset according to the video should be connected to the computer installed with a Nokia suite, via a USB cable. The update option should be there already and if that isn’t the case, it means you got to wait a little more since the manufacturers have already said that the new update is made available in phases and that varies from one country to another and depends on the carriers too.
Nokia 500 has proved to be one of the most affordable Symbian^3 devices that Nokia has launched. The handset models had its operating system, which was Symbian Anna. When it finally receives its Belle update, a lot of changes will occur in the handset. It can then be used for recording videos in HD at the rate of a 30 frames per second.
After the update, the handset will feature an improved UI with redesigned menus and newer widgets. The new OS has been optimized for the Nokia 500 handset models to go well with its not so powerful hardware and will have only four home screens after the update. But this doesn’t affect the device in giving a fluid screen transitions and also a stable performance.
The currently supported devices from Nokia for Belle include N8, X7, C7, E7, C6-01, E6, Nokia 500 and Nokia Oro. The video clearly shows the transition of an Anna embedded Nokia handset to a Belle OS updated one with the later one having improved UI and menu schemes. The update process is quick and simple. The market for the Nokia 500 is expected to have a reopening with the new update.
The handset seems working so well with the new update and it now satisfies a large number of people who were not particularly happy about the old Anna based Nokia 500.
