Nokia Asha 310 Spotted Online, Will Hit India in Second Week of March

Nokia Asha 310 - the brand new Dual SIM handset, along with the likes of Wi-Fi support gathered much spotlight, when it was unveiled in India this February. However, the budget handset eventually disappeared from the news, while the Finnish giant claimed, the handset will released in the first quarter of 2013 in Asia, including India.

Well, if you are waiting for the handset, Gizbot has come up with a tip for you. Asha 310 has been spotted at online at Nokia e-store and Saholic with a 'Coming Soon' tag. The part to be noted is that on Saholic, when Gizbot clicked on "Tell me when available" bar on the site, it revealed that the device will be available for purchase from March 15. Reportedly, Nokia Asha 310 is expected to be priced at Rs 5,500.

Asha 310 will come in both single and dual SIM variants. Below are the key specifications of Asha 310.

Dimensions & Weight: Asha 310 carries a dimension of 109.9 x 54 x 13mm and weighs in at 103.7 grams.

Display: The handset houses a 3 inch WQVGA scratch-proof capacitive touchscreen display with 400 x 240 pixel resolution.

Platform: Asha 310 runs on the Series 40 platform.

Memory: Asha 310 has 128MB internal storage and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage.

Camera: Lacking a front camera, Asha 310 comes with a 2MP rear camera.

Connectivity: Asha 310 is packed with connectivity features including WiFi, Bluetooth with A2DP support and micro USB 2.0.

Battery: The handset is equipped with a 1,110 mAh BL-4U battery used in Asha 310 will offer 17 hours talk time and 25 days standby.

Asha 310 is really not much different from it's previous models Asha 309 and Asha 308. Perhaps the only differences you can spot is that the Asha 310 comes integrated with Wi-Fi capability, which is missing in the Asha 308 and of course, Asha 310 has Dual-SIM capability, which is absent in the Asha 309.
