Nokia Asha 311 Price Tumbles Down to Rs 5990

To recap the features and specifications, the Nokia Asha 311 is a "Full Touch" smartphone powered by Nokia's Series 40 operating system. It was announced at Bangkok by Nokia along with two others Asha Full Touch phones - the Nokia Asha 305 and 306. The 311 was considered to be the flagship of the Asha Full Touch family. Its main features are the Full Touch capacitive touchscreen, the pentaband 3G radio, SIP VoIP over 3G and Wi-Fi and the ability to play games.

The 3 inch LCD display phone which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass comes with a 3.2 Megapixel with features like Fixed Focus, Self Timer, Auto and Manual White Balance, Auto Exposure, Exposure Compensation, Full Screen View Finder, Sequence Mode, Image Editor, but it does not have a front facing camera.

The phone runs on a 1 GHz CPU and has Nokia's home grown S40 OS. Nokia Asha 311 has 256MB internal memory which is expandable by up to 32GB through microSD and has 128 MB RAM. The device is powered by 1110 mAh battery that provides up to 14 hours talk time in 2G and 6 hours in 3G. The phone comes preloaded with 40 free EA Games as well as Angry Birds. Regarding connectivity, Nokia Asha 311 runs on quad band 2G and Pentaband 3G networks. The phone is also equipped with Bluetooth v2.1 and micro USB 2.0.
