Asha 200 and Asha 201: Nokia Releases Software Update for Handsets

    Nokia is out with the latest software update for its popular Asha 200 and Asha 201 models. Nokia announced that the handsets with model numbers, RM-799 / RM-800 and RM-761 are the ones getting the new software update. Nokia fans all around the world can feel glad as the update is planned to be released for all countries. But Nokia added that users in China won't be getting this update as per their plan.


    Nokia users in all other countries are offered this update via the Nokia Suite desktop app. The new firmware is also being planned to make available over the air for user comfort soon. The new software release for Nokia Asha 200 and Asha 201 models are made available as version 11.95. With this new software update, users can experience software stability improvements with their Nokia handset models.

    All minor issues faced by users of the handsets are cleared and adequate enhancements have been made with the phone calls and messaging section. The new update also brings in notable improvements in the multimedia functionality of Asha 200 and Asha 201 models.

    Performance improvements are added to the elements like camera and media player thereby assuring an error free usage for the handset owners. According to Nokia, the software update that was announced last day is sure to bring up a notable level of usage improvements for the devices working on the firmware, 11.87, 11.81 and 11.90. Users can look forward to the arrival of the new updated software version 11.95 from Nokia over the air soon.
