Economic Smartphone’s From Nokia And HTC: Nokia C7 Vs HTC My Touch
Today we take a closer look at 2 models of Smartphone"s from these 2 giants. The models under the scanner are the Nokia C7 and HTC My Touch. Both are economical Smartphone"s from these manufacturers and are aimed at bringing in Smartphone technology to the masses.
The Nokia C7 reviews and also of HTC My Touch claim that they are neatly designed phones that are stylish and trendy to carry with you wherever you go. The C7 comes with a 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen whereas the MyTouch has a larger 3.8 inch touch screen display. So it is more favorable to watch content in the MyTouch than in the C7. But the AMOLED screen of C7 is a delight in itself as it is easier to use in sunlight and over bright lighting.
Both the phones abound in Multimedia specs and features a Music player and video player that supports a wide variety of media formats like MP3, MP4, WMV and even high definition video formats like h263 and h264. The Nokia C7 and HTC My Touch have several more features in common like a Stereo FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack for external audio device connectivity.
The C7 has a powerful 8 Mega Pixel rear camera and features a VGA front camera that facilitates video recording. The MyTouch however has a smaller 5 Mega Pixel rear camera and a VGA front camera for video calling. The HTC My Touch and Nokia C7 reviews have that they have video recording capability and that too in high definition 720p format.
The phones have good internal memory besides offering external Micro SD based expansion of up to 32 GB.
On the connectivity front the Nokia C7 reviews and HTC My Touch reviews has all the best technologies like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB PC sync but the C7 has the newer versions in most of these. On the communications front however the MyTouch is the better of the 2 as it offers the same 2G and 3G network support as the C7 but also offers 4G supports that is missing in the C7.
The economic smartphone pricing is however the key factor that makes the Nokia C7 a clear winner in Nokia vs HTC. The phone is priced at just Rs 16500 compared to the Rs 21,700 you will have to shell out for the HTC My Touch.
However both the phones are a delight to use and would cherish the enjoyment using it.
