Nokia "EOS" is one device which has been leaked several times in past few weeks. We have seen a galley of pictures and the rumors still seems to be lingering with regards to its launch.
The newest report has leaked latest image of the same Nokia EOS draped in aluminum body. This is contrary the older leaks, which showed the device in polycarbonate casing.
Already, Nokia has sent out invites to some media outlets including Pocket-Lint for an event in New York on July 11. The invitation reads "Zoom. Reinvented." and features a large, old-fashioned magnifying glass. The Nokia Eos is highly expected to be launched then. The EOS will be better than that at taking photos, as Nokia has improved its PureView technology since the introduction of 808.
On the other hand, Samsung has been creating a stir by calling a name of Galaxy S4 Zoom, which they claims to be the only device one would ever need. The South Korean company is trying to match the Nokia's 41 MP camera and hopes to bring their latest smartphone-meets-camera device soon. It is rumored that they are up to getting 10x optical zoom lens in S4 Zoom. But Nokia already has a phone with 41MP camera which is Symbian-based 808.
Thus, Nokia wouldn't be afraid as it is already getting ready to "reinvent zoom" during an event that will take place in New York City on July 11.
Reports in the past have suggested that Nokia Lumia EOS will feature that 41MP rear facing camera with Xenon flash, and Nokia Pro Camera. The latter gives you more fine-tuning control over the camera. The device will have 32GB of native storage mostly because there is no microSD slot on the phone. The Nokia Lumia Lumia EOS will be equipped with an 4.5 inch PureMotion HD+ display with OLED screen offering the resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels. Windows Phone 8 version 8.0.10322.71 will be pre-installed. It would possibly have LTE and a dual-core processor. Like many of the Nokia Lumia models after receiving the upcoming GDR2 update, the Lumia EOS will offer an FM Radio.
There are no information regarding Nokia EOS's price and other features and specs as of now.
