Nokia EOS Rumor Mill: What We Think Will Happen on July 11

The release date of the Nokia EOS, the Lumia successor of the Pureview 808 smartphone is not very far. Come July 11 and the Finnish giant would lift the pan to grace the retail shelves with its whopping 41 megapixel camera phone.

Tipped to hit the market, featuring the latest version of Microsoft Windows Phone 8, Nokia EOS also dubbed as Nokia Lumia 1020 is said to come with all the capabilities which were missing in PureView 808 to compete with the likes of Apple and Samsung best bets.

Before you go around thinking, as what will be be the consistent features of the yet-to-be-unveiled Nokia EOS in the New York "Zoom Reinvented" press event, here today, GizBot has come up with 5 confirmed possibilities which could be seen at time of launch. Nokia EOS 41 MP camera

Although, the tech world has already seen a gallery of images which boasted the back panel of Nokia EOS touting the 41MP camera, however a latest press shot has appeared online courtesy @evleaks, which depicts a clear picture of the Nokia EOS back panel touting its polycarbonate plastic look.

Also, the same source leaked the front panel of the smartphone earlier yesterday. It showed the engraved AT&T's branding on the top corner, while the the Nokia Pro Cam app was also visible.

It Will Be Called Nokia 909

So far, the smartphone has been called by different names like, Nokia EOS, Nokia Lumia 1020 and more. But the latest update according to the @evleak tweet is that the phone will land with the name of 'Nokia 909.'

Nokia EOS Will Come in Three Colors

Not only that but it is also said that the Nokia EOS/1020/909 will be available in three different colors that are not officially disclosed yet and would come at the price of $602 (Approx. Rs. 36,276). But past report have already leaked the upcoming Lumia in black and white color variant and a red or yellow color model is also expected.

4.5 Inch OLED Display and Nokia Lumia 920 like Form Factor

Further, according to multiple leaks and reports, it is clear by now that Nokia EOS will boast a similar form factor, just like its older siblings Nokia Lumia 920 and 925. Which means, its would come sporting 4.5-inch OLED screen display with 1280 x 768 pixel resolution. As per analysts, the handset will mostly pick the looks of Lumia 920, with only subtle changes in design.

Further, expected features are a Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage capacity, a missing microSD slot, built-in wireless charging feature and more.

Nokia EOS Aluminum Body Variant

Possibilities are that Nokia EOS could also be announced in an aluminum body variant. The tech media world has already seen multiple leaks related to this variant.
