Nokia EOS Rumor Round Up: All That You Need to Know Ahead of Launch

    Only a day is left for the launch of the next generation, Nokia EOS handset. By now almost everyone must have known about Nokia EOS/Lumia 1020/ Nokia 909, the massive 41 MP camera phone, obviously running on Windows Phone 8 OS.

    But as the launch day is drawing closer, the device rumors about the device is speeding up. It was only yesterday when, the alleged camera samples of Lumia 1020 was spotted on Flickr. Surprisingly, the account belonged to Microsoft Windows Phone manager Joe Belfiore. Now more leaks have come up related to AT&T listing and added teaser videos.

     

    Not only that but the press shots of the handset also surfaced online lately, showing the already popular Nokia EOS in three different colors viz. Yellow, Black and White. And according to the rumors and multiple reports that surfaced earlier in forms of images and press invite that said, "Zoom Reinvented", the device is likely to be announced July 11, 2013 (Tomorrow) in New York.

    Apart from the 41 MP camera with an ability to take images in 32MP and 5MP at the same time in 16:9 aspect ratio and Windows phone 8, other rumored specs so far occupying the Nokia EOS gossip are, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, however, expandable memory could be missing, NFC, LTE connectivity, optional wireless charging back cover. The Lumia 1020 was previously also said to sport 4.5 inch PureMotion HD+ display with OLED screen having resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels

    The optical image stabilization feature (OIS) will be built in. The phone is said to have an F/2.2 camera lens, making its really supreme in nature. Pro Camera app has been seen in one of the leaked image of the handset as well which will give users to an option to change ISO, shutter speed, manual focus, flash and white balance.

    Furthermore, several reports suggest that the phone will reach US later this month followed by UK launch. The Finnish giant is also expected to bring its already popular EOS in India around November.

    One of the trusted leakster @evleaks also said that the device would be called Nokia 909. However, better know as EOS so far, the device is likely to influence the compact camera market as well. Perhaps, Nikon must be the first one to be influenced.

    Moreover, as the device is very much likely to be officially announced tomorrow, GizBot has cared to come up with a compilation of almost all the Nokia EOS images that has been leaked so far.
