Nokia Lumia 1020 Update: Full Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch

Nokia is almost ready to show its imaging marvel - the Lumia 1020 in New York . The Finnish giant, who pins hopes on Windows Phone 8 OS, will announce the next-generation Lumia device. The company had announced Lumia 925 and Lumia 928 earlier in the year.

The Nokia EOS is yet to be announced officially, but The Verge claimed that they got an early access to press shots. From design to form factor, the Lumia 1020 is indeed comes with a 41-mega pixel camera sensor on the back. Going by the images, it seems that the phones will arrive in three colors: Yellow, Black and White.

The report further says that Nokia has placed a 4.5-inch AMOLED display, wide-angle front facing camera on the front, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The handset is primarily a camera device. Nokia will sell Camera grip shell and a wireless charging compatible rear back covers as accessories. The Nokia EOS comes with Xenon Flash and F2.2 lens, is already speculated and sources close to The Verge also shared the same.

At the same time, UnleashThePhones published the technical specifications sheet on the blog. The Lumia 1020 will have 1.5GHz dual-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of ROM and 7GB of Skydrive cloud storage. The camera resolution stands at 41-mega pixels with Optical Image stabilization (OIS) and 3x digital zoom. Accompanying fantastic hardware, Nokia Pro Camera app enables dual camera mode. The makers have added a 2000mAh Li Ion battery. The Lumia 1020 measures 10.4mm in terms of thickness and weighs 158grams. The device supports 4G LTE.
