Nokia might not have given this camera the same 41-megapixel sensor that was used in the Lumia 1020, but the Lumia 1520 still manages to click great pictures.
It uses a 20 megapixel sensor and packs all the same optical image stabilization and the PureView zoom capabilities.
However, the PureView Zoom has been reduced to 2X from the 3X that we saw in the Lumia 1020. And yes, just like the Lumia 1020, this handset also captures images in 5 megapixel and 16 megapixel. The smaller version of the capture image is for sharing, while the bigger one provides amazing detail when viewed on a computer.
Early Verdict
The Lumia 1520 is an exciting phone. Its the right way ahead for Windows Phones and Gizbot hopes that other manufacturers will learn from its example.
