Nokia Lumia 510 Comes to India at Rs 11,000: Will You Buy the Most Affordable Member of Lumia Family?
Today, Nokia held a press event in Delhi to officially announce the launch of the cheapest Windows phone of the Lumia ecosystem in India – the Lumia 510 smartphone, priced at Rs 11,000. The affordable handset had already been spotted several times in the tech online world, with reports revealing its design aesthetics, specs and release date.
Talking about the positioning of the new smartphone in the market, Lumia 510 is an entry-level Windows Phone based smartphone that is launched at a new price point of Rs 11,000, thereby, replacing the Lumia 610, which was till now the most affordable Windows Phone handset.
Commenting at the launch event, Jo Harlow, executive vice president of Nokia Smart Devices was quoted stating, "With the Nokia Lumia 510 we continue to meet our commitment to bring Windows Phone to new, lower price points. People who use Windows Phone quickly realize how much more intuitive it is than other smartphone platforms, and Nokia Lumia is the best embodiment of the Windows Phone experience. With the Nokia Lumia 510 we're looking forward to welcoming more people into the Windows Phone experience."

Dimensions & Weight: Lumia 510 carries a dimension of 120.7 x 64.9 x 11.5mm and weighs in at 129 grams.
Display: The handset packs a 4 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
Processor: Lumia 510 is powered by an 800MHz single-core processor under its hood.
Operating System: Likewise Lumia 610, the handset is based on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, but it will be upgraded to Windows Phone 7.8 OS.
Storage: Lumia 510 is equipped with 4GB internal storage and 256MB RAM. However, it lacks a micro SD card for additional memory support. Being a Windows Phone handset, Lumia 510 has 7GB SkyDrive cloud storage for free.

Nokia has priced Lumia 510 competitively at Rs 11,000 making it the cheapest Windows Phone handset. Moreover, the handset will be made available for sale from the first week of November.
