Nokia recently launched its latest handset the Lumia 630 Dual in the Indian market at the price of Rs. 11,500 with a latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS per-loaded in it. The device started selling since yesterday via online stores in India.
The smartphone which is a very affordable device with a latest software will be a tough rival against other mid-range Android smartphones. It is one of the first phones with Windows Phone 8.1 OS. The Lumia 630 comes with a pretty decent specifications. It features a 4.5-Inch ClearBlack IPS LCD display offering a FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480pixels. Moreover, it is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and churns out t pixel density of 221 ppi.
The handset which measures 129.5mm x 66.7mm x 9.2mm and weighs 134 grams is powered by a 1.2Ghz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU from Qualcomm coupled with an entry level 512 of MB.
The smartphone is not much of a photography oriented device but if offers an average imaging hardware. It features a 5MP primary camera with Auto focus and f-number/aperture value of f/2.4. Sadly the handset lacks on the front facing shooter.
In the connectivity segment, the Lumia 630 comes with Dual SIM (Micro SIM) support. Other connectivity options include Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, WLAN and 3G.
It houses a native storage capacity of 8 GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card. Moreover, Nokia is also offering a free 7GB of cloud storage with the phone.
The Lumia 630 is powered by a 1830 mAh battery capable of offering a maximum talk time of 16.4hours and 13.1 hours on 2G and 3G network respectively. The company also says that the battery will also provide a maximum standby time with dual SIM for 27 days, maximum music playback time of 58 hours, maximum video playback time of 7 hours.
