Nokia is believed to be working on a dual SIM version of popular Lumia 720. If this is happening, then be ready to see more Windows Phone 8 handsets to have dual SIM feature. Following a tweet posted from the Twitter account of @evleaks, it is now confirmed that Windows Phone 8 powered handset might get desired dual SIM feature in the coming days to come.
Nokia, being the largest manufacturer of WP8 handsets, could bring this feature first in the market. Rumors keep coming about WP8 powered handsets to have dual SIM capability. Last month, Nokia Lebanon hinted at Nokia Lumia 625 soon be getting dual-SIM version. The tweet sent from the official Nokia Lebanon account, reads: "It's a smartphone, it's Dual Sim and it's golden... Can guess its name?"
Now when @evleaks confirms the existence of Nokia Lumia 720 dual SIM, it really matters to consumers residing in Asian subcontinent including India. Dual SIM feature is quite popular with Indian users. Nokia understand how crucial the dual SIM feature is to crush cheap Android phones. At present the biggest drawback with Windows Phone 8 powered handsets are lack of dual SIM/ triple SIM capability. Nokia is quite strong with dual SIM phones under Rs. 5,000. Now it is be seen when will Nokia launched dual SIM variants of Lumia 625 and 720 in the Indian market.
Earlier in the year, chipset maker Qualcomm announced six new additions of Qualcomm Snapdragon 200. The new chipset support dual SIM capability, and should be apt for Windows Phone 8 mobile OS.

The Lumia 720 is basically a dedicated camera phone. The specifications are not great; however, the 6.7-mega pixel rear facing camera is commendable.
