The price details of much hyped Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 is no more a secret. Nokia has made the prices official and has started accepting the pre-orders of two new smartphones. However, this announcement is made for the European markets and the global consumers need to wait for some more time.
As per the reports, Lumia 920 will cost $801 (approximately Rs. 43,000) where as Lumia 820 is cost $640 (approximately Rs. 34,000). The pricing of the two products differ by a small margin in Russia where the devices will be sold at a slightly expensive price tag. Lumia 920 can be pre-ordered for $836 (approximately Rs 45,000) where as Lumia 820 can be ordered for $643 (approximately Rs. 34,200) in Russia. Italy seems to be the only country where Lumia 920 is slated for pre-orders at a more affordable price tag. Lumia 920 is priced as low as $771 (around Rs. 41,000) in Italy.

Nokia has announced immediate pre-order availability for Russian customers. The company will be offering Nokia Lumia 920 in colors such as yellow, red, white and black where as Nokia Lumia 820 will be available in red, white and black colors. Nokia will have to revise the pricing of these products when they release them in a budget conscious market like India. If comparisons are anything to go by, one can order an iPhone 5 for the price they pay for Lumia 820. On the other hand, Lumia 920’s price exceeds by Rs.10,000 when compared to Samsung Galaxy S3 which is available for retail purchase for a price of just Rs.34,000.
Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 are for sure good devices with great features and specifications. But with the given price point, it is a bit doubtful that how many takers these devices will have with Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 providing stiff competition.
Lumia 920 packs a 4.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with PureMotion HD and ClearBlack display technologies. The handset is equipped with an 8.7MP rear camera with PureView branding, 1.2MP front camera, 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, NFC connectivity and 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery.
Coming to the Lumia 820, the handset features a 4.3 inch AMOLED ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels. The handset has a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, 8MP camera with the PureView technology, a VGA front camera video calling, NFC and 1,650 mAh Li-ion battery.
