Nokia N9 Vs Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Battle Of Smartphones
What started of as a battle in the basic phone segment got carried all the way to the Smartphone segment with neither of the players Nokia and Sony Ericsson wanting to lose out to the other. This battle has benefited the Indian customers a lot because it resulted in the launch of some of India"s finest handsets by either of the companies at different times and that too at much lower and affordable prices. The reliability and functionality of the phones from these manufacturers were well acknowledged by Indian buyers.
Today we take into comparison 2 Smartphones from these manufacturers that have been a massive success in the Indian market. The models in comparison are the Nokia N9 and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.
The Nokia N9 is a Meego OS powered phone and it has gained a lot of appreciation for its design which is at times funky yet stunning. On the connectivity side both the Nokia N9 and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and also offers high speed 3G internet access with data transfer speed of up to 21 Mbps.
The deciding factor is the price. The Nokia N9 with all its features will cost you around Rs 32000 while the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will retail for around Rs 28000. Thus the Xperia Play is the better choice as it offers almost everything the N9 offers but for a much lower price.
