Nokia Oro Vs Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray: The Billionaire's Phones
Today we deal with the comparison of two such phones, Nokia Oro and Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray. Both are state of the art and high end Smartphones that offer a certain amount of pride and dignity for its potential owners. They are styled and designed keeping in mind the exorbitant spending spree of the ultra high class society which his now seen as a rising minority among Indians.
First let us begin with Nokia Oro. It is the ultimate luxury statement as far as mobile phones are concerned as it is clear from the fact that the phone will have its frame and keys made of solid 18K gold. The phone looks very radiant owing to the gold covering. It has a 3.5 inch capacitive full touch screen based AMOLED display which offers superb high definition video playback.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray on the other hand does not have any gold covering or precious studding"s on it but is styled as a cool and sleek phone with classy and highly finished metal framework and comes with a large 3.3 inch LED backlit LCD full touch screen display. The phone boasts of a vivacious look.
Both Nokia Oro and Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray are high on gadgetry as they both are equipped with an 8 mega pixel camera that offers LED flash and allows high definition video recording in 720p format. Both have a VGA front camera for allowing video calling on fast 3G networks.
On the multimedia and entertainment specs, both the phones offer support for recording and playback of a number of media formats in both criteria like MP3, MP4, WAV, WMV, AAC+ and even high definition video formats like h263 and h264.
Nokia Oro and Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray have all the latest connectivity and communications options ranging from Bluetooth to USB PC sync and Wi-Fi internet connectivity. The phones support 2G internet technologies like EDGE and GPRS besides offering high speed 3G access. But Nokia Oro offers 3G data transfer speeds of up to 10 Mbps as compared to the 7 Mbps of Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray.
Finally comes the deciding factor-Price. The price of the Xperia Ray is not yet announced but it is expected to cost around Rs 45000 maximum. But the Nokia Oro has a humongous price tag of around Rs 75000 which in our view is very exorbitant.
