There's no solid proof, as why Nokia would not be able to launch any new WP8 powered handsets under its Lumia series at MWC 2014. Just for the reminder, the same website (Nokia Power User) had previously reported that Nokia may announce a "new hardware brand post the deal closure announcement". Now whether the impending announcement has something related to Lumia series or upcoming wearable devices. We can't comment on the same. Well, a few hours back the Finnish giant released Nokia Lumia Icon, a 5-inch FHD Windows Phone 8 handset , in the American market.
With the launch of Lumia Icon, Nokia has once again clarfied that the company is committed to its Lumia series. And it reaffirms that Nokia shall continue making phones under existing Lumia series.
