Nokia's Windows phone Tango updates
Every one wondered how Microsoft is going to deal with the Windows phone for the entry level models which has been the domain of Nokia. However the doubts were clarified with the news of upcoming window Windows Phone Tango update. It is already heard that the update besides its low screen resolution will also support a low RAM. The possibility of running it with a 256 RAM was thus indicated and it’s somewhat similar to that which the low end 2010 Symbian devices of Nokia use.
With the presently available windows phones like Lumia 900 featuring a 512MB of RAM with its 480x800 pixels of resolution the price is comparatively high than what it has been decided for the new updated edition which is to be spotted with low screen resolutions and RAM configurations.
With the CPUs ticking at low rates like a 1-1.4GHz units it’s again a possibility that the price will be even more less. Well it’s not sure what the screen quality would be like to have a lesser screen resolution and also the chances of finding a less flashy user interface is high here with the 256 MB RAM.
The latest news is about the mouth watering specifications of the windows phone tango update that has been leaked. Besides the already known fact about its possibility to be run by even a lesser RAM like a 256 MB, it’s now known that Tango will have a low configured camera device of less resolution and a 3MP lens. It was first decided to be a 5MP.
The customers who would have the tango phones with such low specifications will be warned by the OS before, when they try to download heavy applications from internet markets. The warning would ask for more than a minimum RAM of 256 MB and it would indicate the troubles it would be causing, if such a download is done.
The new update as per the leaked report will have the errors and flaws rectified features that were an issue in the previous versions. For example, the issues related to contact management on the SIM card is now solved. The MMS messages now can be attached with multiple attachments and a voice recording application is also embedded to it.
The update offers both international and domestic data roaming and it now comes with three options that would put an end to heavy phone bills. The update and more features of it can be expected to be explained at the MWC expo. Nokia most probably will unveil their first Tango mobile handset ever, Nokia 610 with its low end specifications and at a price reflecting it.
