ZTE Nubia Z5: Oppo Find 5 Phablet Rival Launched with 5-Inch, 1080p Display, Slender Body and More
A grand event took place in Beijing recently, when ZTE unveiled its latest flagship phablet offering to the consumers over there - ZTE Nubia Z5. Currently availabile only in China market, Nubia Z5 handset has got a gorgeous 5-inch display (made by Sharp) with 1080p resolution (443PPI).
Further, as informed by the company's press release, it's display uses OGS lamination technology, and the device has also got 7.6mm thin aluminum unibody and ultra-slim bezel design.
Other features of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered phablet includea quad core Snapdragon Pro processor, 2 GB RAM, Adreno 320 CPU, 13 mega-pixel camera on the rear with BSI CMOS Sensor, blue glass IR filter, LED flash, 2-mega pixel front camera which enables video-chat, 32GB onboard storage, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, microUSB, NFC radio and a solid 2,300mAh battery.
Reportedly, ZTE Nubia Z5 will roll out in China at a price of $555 (Rs. 30,350 approx). The launch will take place in January and the manufacturer is also expected to unveil a titanium model for $1,265 (Rs. 69,170 approx). The device is not slated for release in the US or any other country in the near future.
ZTE says it expects to invest heavily in the US presence and if it can release handsets like Nubia Z5, it will definitely be a great milestone the company was trying so hard to attain. With all exciting features and a sleek look, the phablet may soon work wonders in the sales of smartphones and definitely has all the potential to compete with the likes of Oppo Find 5, which has already been confirmed recently for worldwide availability, starting January 2013.
The 5-inch Find 5 phablet will hit the stores of the countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, Malaysia, Sweden, Singapore, Finland, Greece, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, Japan, and Hong Kong. Reportedly, the pricing of 16GB handset would be quite expensive, ie. $ 499 (Rs 27, 352 approx), 32GB for $ 569 (Rs 31, 189 approx).
