OnePlus One 64GB Variant To Sell in India via Invite Model At Rs 25,000

After being launched in April this year, OnePlus has recently announced to release its best device - the OnePlus One in the Indian market soon, within 2014 itself. However, it wouldn't go on sale via the retail stores but through the invite system, which is somewhat like the flash sales.

Thus, the company's flagship killer, will start shipping to buyers in India soon and will be exclusively available via an invite-only model. Online reports suggest that the smartphone will come for less than Rs. 25,000 upon launch. And it's the 64GB variant of the device that is being talked about.

OnePlus One: Key Specification

The OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch Full HD display offering a resolution of 1920 ×1080 pixels slapped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on it.

It is powered by Qualcomm's one of the best SoCs - the Snapdragon 801 with 2.5GHz Quad-core CPUs, which is also used in Sony and Samsung in their respective flagship devices. Further, coupled with 3GB of RAM, OnePlus One runs on CyanogenMod 11S OS based on Android 4.4 (KitKat) platform.

On the imaging front the handset is pretty equipped, as it uses a 13-megapixel camera with Sony's IMX214 stacked sensor with 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture, dual LED flash 4K video recording. Moreover, a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with f/2.0 aperture is also a standard one.

OnePlus One comes in two variants depending on the storage capacity ie. 16GB and 64GB model. Connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC.

It should be noted that the LTE variant of the device works with bands 1/3/4/7/17/38/40 and 3G model works in bands 1/2/4/5/8. Dimension-wise, the smartphone measures 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 162 grams, further it draws energy from a heavy 3100 mAh battery.

It is not sure when the company will launch the device in India, as OnePlus is yet to make an official announcement regarding the exact date of availability of the device.
