OnePlus One to be Available in India Without Invite, Flash Sale Every Tuesday
Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has entered into the Indian market with its so-called killer flagship OnePlus One, ten weeks ago.
While the smartphone was available for purchase only via invite, however, now in a new events of development, the company has decided to sell its One smartphones without any invitation on the e-stores.
Starting 10.00 am on February 11, you will be able to purchase a OnePlus One from Amazon India without the need of an invite code.
Basically to buy a OnePlus One smartphone, users need an invite from the company or a friend who has it, to purchase the device. This offer will be available for only 24 hours, after which the invite-model will be activated again.
OnePlus One is powered by Qualcomm's one of the latest SoCs Snapdragon 801 with 2.5GHz Quad-core CPUs, which is also used in Sony and Samsung in their respective flagship devices. Further, coupled with 3GB of RAM, OnePlus One runs on CyanogenMod 11S OS based on Android 4.4 (KitKat) platform.

Also, it features a 5.5-inch Full HD display offering a resolution of 1920 ×1080 pixels slapped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on it. On the imaging front the handset is pretty equipped, as it uses a 13MP rear camera with Sony's IMX214 stacked sensor with 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture, dual LED flash 4K video recording. Moreover, a 5MP front-facing snapper with f/2.0 aperture is also a standard one.
Connectivity option includes 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC. It should be noted that the LTE variant of the device works with bands 1/3/4/7/17/38/40 and 3G model works in bands 1/2/4/5/8. Dimension-wise, the smartphone measures 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 162 grams, further it draws energy from a heavy 3100 mAh battery.
OnePlus has built a customOS called Oxygen for Indian users and is all set to roll out its next update based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
