It should come as no surprise if it's known as the OnePlus 2 following the model numbering of previous years. Apparently, the OnePlus 2 might not get launched anytime soon, instead we may get to see the OnePlus One Lite.

OnePlus, which has scheduled an event on April 20, is on the verge of revealing the OnePlus One Lite. The purported handset is said to be an affordable alternative to the top-notch OnePlus Two and is expected to feature high-end specifications compared to the OnePlus One.

Just last week, a report from Bloomberg revealed that OnePlus is expected to unravel two posh handsets - one will be the OnePlus 2 and the other is said to be a low-cost model. Now thanks to a new report from DroidPile, the folks have managed to get exclusive information about the so-called OnePlus One Lite.

According to them, the OnePlus One Lite won't just be the cheaper version than the original OnePlus One, but it will definitely be less powerful than the forthcoming OnePlus 2. However, the technical specifications of the alleged OnePlus One Lite are yet to surface online.

OnePlus will be making the official announcement anytime soon, the Chinese handset manufacturer recently sent out invites for an event which will take place in China on April 20 i.e. today.
