OnePlus One To Launch Soon in India Via Amazon India Exclusively

OnePlus has been teasing the Indian fans since half a year now. The company has announced that it will launch the 'Flagship Killer' One smartphone in India in December. The company has not revealed the exact date of the launch though. However, be advised that the buyers will require India-specific invites to purchase the smartphone.

Anyway, now Amazon India has started teasing a new smartphone with the hashtag TheOneThing along with an image, which clearly shows that it's the OnePlus smartphone that is coming soon exclusively on Amazon. The company recently also said that it will be working with a local partner and also said that the invites will also be available through OnePlus forums and social media channels. The price of the device is not revealed at the moment. But it looks like December is the month to look forward for to.

Also, since, Amazon is running a contest for the OnePlus that will end today, 22nd November, we are expecting the launch of the OnePlus One smartphone as soon as the first week of December.

OnePlus One: Key Specifications

As far as the specs are concerned, the OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch Full HD display offering a resolution of 1920 ×1080 pixels slapped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on it. On the imaging front the handset is pretty equipped, as it uses a 13-megapixel camera with Sony's IMX214 stacked sensor with 6-element lens, f/2.0 aperture, dual LED flash 4K video recording. Moreover, a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with f/2.0 aperture is also a standard one. OnePlus One will be released in two variants depending on the storage capacity ie. 16GB and 64GB model. Connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC. It should be noted that the LTE variant of the device works with bands 1/3/4/7/17/38/40 and 3G model works in bands 1/2/4/5/8. Dimension-wise, the smartphone measures 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 162 grams, further it draws energy from a heavy 3100 mAh battery.
