Oppo Find 7 FHD Will Be Priced at a “premium” Than Anticipated [Report]

|

Off late, Chinese smartphone makers have become more dominant on the world stage. And for that matter, Oppo has opened a door that had been sealed for years.

Not many Chinese handset manufacturers used to indulge in promoting their forthcoming handsets much before the launch, like the western players. However, with the acceptance of the so-called China made phones on a global level things have changed a lot.

Oppo, for instance, has been in the news for coming up with a 50MP camera phone. The phone, Find 7, will be officially launched on March 19 in Beijing. The tech media is abuzz with plenty of rumors around the coming of Find 7. This is for the first time we've have seen International press talking about a Chinese brand set to rival Samsung and Sony on a global map.

Oppo Find 7 FHD Will Be Priced at a “premium” Than Anticipated

Oppo Find 7 - Latest Update

Just the other day, we informed you that the low-end version of Find 7 would be sold for less than $500 or Rs. 30,000 approximately in the Chinese market. However, those reports were wrong, as the Oppo Find 7 will cost more than speculated $500 price tag.

Now, according to MyDrivers website, Oppo has already started to advertise the retail price of Find 7's FHD version, ahead of the anticipated launch on March 19. And, Oppo will charge a cool prive tag of $569 or Rs. 34,200 approximately from consumers. Many of you may not agree with Oppo, as the retail price of Find 7 1080p version may seem a bit high.

The official retail price is still awaited, but looks like the Find 7 (low-end version) may not come as cheap as expected in China. Let's not forget that the Find 7 will also have a high-end version, featuring a Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display, a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM.

It could be priced on a premium side. But for now, it's all rumor. We have to sit tight and wait a few more days until Oppo lifts the lid on what it has up its sleeves.
