Oppo Mirror 3 with Android KitKat, 8MP Camera is now Official
Few days after launching the world's second slimmest smartphone Oppo R5, and Oppo R1C with Sapphire display, Chinese handset maker Oppo yet again launched a mid range segment smartphone dubbed as Oppo Mirror 3. The recently launched smartphone is similar in looks with the Oppo R1C except the glossy plastic rear panel.
Oppo Mirror 3 - Key Specifications
Oppo Mirror 3 sports a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC (MSM8916) alongside 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of in-built storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Moving on to the camera department, it has 8MP Sony IMX179 sensor with f/2.0 lens aperture, 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Oppo Mirror 3 runs with Android 4.4 KitKat with its very ColourOS 2.0.1 UI on top of it. This smartphone is packed with a 2000mAh battery, which can be charged up to 60 percent in 90 minutes with bundled 2A charger.

It carries a dimension of 8.95mm thickness and weighs around 126 grams. Coming in Black and White variant, initially it will be launched in the local market for VND 5,990,000 (approx Rs. 17,365). As there is no official announcement about the global roll-out, we are expecting more information in the forthcoming days.
Further, if the rumors turns out to be true, Oppo is said to announce its another model U3 which is 64-bit capable handset today. Oppo U3 is powered by MediaTek's MT6752 processor, 2 GB RAM, and a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front snapper combo. As per reports this smartphone might cost around $450 (approx Rs. 27,855) and, according to rumors, is supposed to be unveiled today.
