Oppo Mobile to Debut in India on January 30 With 13MP Rotating Camera Smartphone Launch
Apart from China based smartphone vendors like, Lenovo, Huawei and Gionee who are already running their operations in India, Oppo is another smartphone manufacturer which hails from the same people's republic nation. The company is all set to strike the Indian smartphone market with its unique N1 smartphone.
GizBot has already received the press invite of the company's January 30th event in Delhi, where they are possibly going to launch the smartphone with a swiveling camera. The camera is such that it can be rolled back and forth, which means that there is a single camera which will be used both as a front and a rear shooter. Oppo N1 was officially launched last year around September 24. Although the wait is simply too long, it's about to end with the company's January 30th event.
Now for the most interesting part of the upcoming Oppo event would be the involvement of Bollywood actors. Yes, Bollywood actors such as Hrithik Roshan, popular for Kkrish movie series, and Sonam Kapoor will be doing the honor of unveiling the upcoming N1 smartphone from Oppo. Also a report from Financial Express, which came a couple of days ago, suggests that both Roshan and Kapoor have completed shooting commercial for the Oppo N1 smartphone. The advertisement is reportedly said to go live on the same day, i.e. January 30th.
Refreshing the specs, it comes with the full HD 5.9 inch display offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and delivers 377 pixels per inch pixel density. This phone is powered by 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 quad core processor with Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It runs on Oppo's home made Color OS, which is built on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The internal storage is not expandable and can be bought in two variants: 16 GB and 32 GB models. Moving on the camera section, there is a 13 MP CMOS sensor camera (from Sony) which features 6 lenses stacked over one another. The wide Aperture f/2.0 camera is supported by Fujitsu IPS imaging chip. Also add a Dual LED flash.
The camera, which can be rotated up to over 180 degrees can be used to take super-high quality selfies. And upon rotating the camera hinge, also activates the camera. Apart from that, the area under the camera is touch sensitive and thus it has been named as O Touch.
You can use this O Touch to play music or browse web. Over all, it will be powered by a generous 3650 mAh battery capacity.
Although, the previous rumors suggest the price to be somewhere around Rs. 30,000, it is yet to be confirmed by the company. Even the availability of the device could be known after the event.
