Oppo N1 Set For India Launch On January 30

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo might launch its unique N1 smartphone in the Indian market soon. According to Gadgetstouse's latest report, the smartphone with the swivel camera will launch on January 30th in India. As per the report, Oppo N1 will be launched by Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor.

Talking about, Bollywood, a report from Financial Express suggests that both Roshan and Kapoor are done with the shooting of the Oppo N1 commercial. The advertisement is also reportedly said to go live on the same day.

Indians who are eager to check out the Oppo N1, here is a brief rundown on the specs of the smartphone. Oppo N1 was officially launched last year around September 24. It comes with the full HD 5.9 inch display offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and delivers 377 pixels per inch pixel density.

This phone is powered by 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 quad core processor with Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It run's on Oppo's home made Color OS, which is built on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The internal storage is not expandable and can be bought in two variants: 16 GB and 32 GB models.

Moving on the camera section, there is a 13 MP CMOS sensor camera (from Sony) which features 6 lenses stacked over one another. The wide Aperture f/2.0 camera is supported by Fujitsu IPS imaging chip. Also add a Dual LED flash. The camera, which can be rotated upto over 180 degrees can be used to take super-high quality selfies. And upon rotating the camera hinge, also activates the camera. Apart from that, the area under the camera is touch sensitive and thus it has been named as O Touch. You can use this O Touch to play music or browse web. Over all, it will be powered by a generous 3650 mAh battery capacity.

The company has not revealed any information pertaining to the price of the device and availability of the smartphone is yet to be confirmed. Previous rumors suggests the price to be somewhere around Rs. 30,000.
