Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition Comes With A Gold Frame: Coming to Online Stores from February 20

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched its second slimmest smartphone's Gilded Limited Edition with gold frame in the Indian market today.

"Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition defines luxury. The uber stylish gold frame adds a unique look to the smartphone and is sure to turn heads for its chic look," noted Oppo in the press release.

According to the company, only 10,000 units of the R5 Gilded Limited Edition will be released globally. It will have the same price as the oringial R5, which is Rs. 29,990.

Apart from the golden frame, rest is similar to the ordinary device.

Reiterating the specs, Oppo R5 comes with 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. This device has 16GB of internal storage with no expansion slot in it.

On the imaging factor, the Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition flaunts 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 sensor, Schneider lens, 5MP front facing lens and runs on Android KitKat 4.4 on top of Color OS 2.0. Being the second slimmest smartphone in the world, it measures 4.85mm thickness.

On the connectivity, it supports 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and R5 is powered by a 2000mAh battery, with VOOC Rapid charge technology.

This limited version will be available through pre-booking and available across India from 20th February until the stock lasts.
