Oppo R7 Listed Online Revealing Specs and Price Ahead of Official Launch

    Oppo's upcoming R7 smartphone has been in news for a long time now. It is expected to bring some impressive specs targeting the mid-range marketing segment.

    While the new smartphone is expected to be launched officially on Wednesday ie. May 20, the device has already been listed on China's JD.com retail site.

    The listing revealed that Oppo R7 will come with high-end specs and the leak also gave some hints on the price of the handset.

    According to the online retailer, the Oppo R7 smartphone will be available at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 30,800). However, the retailer has also noted that the official pricing will only be announced with the official launch on Wednesday.

    According to the online retailer, the Oppo R7 will sport a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display offering 441ppi pixel density and a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor.

    The handset will have 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 405 GPU, 16GB inbuilt storage. On the camera front, the smartphone will offer a 20.7MP-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

    The Android 5.0 Lollipop-based device and Oppo is also expected to integrate the latest quick-charge technology in its R7 smartphone by supporting VOOC standard to charge the handset to 75% in just 30 minutes. The handset will house a 2,320mAh battery along with dual SIM support and 4G LTE on both slots.

    The specs of the Oppo R7 seems to be quite impressive, however, we will have to wait for a while to analyse when the smartphone will be able to give tough competition to Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4 or now.
