Oppo Sends out Invite for 'Find 7 Launch' Event on June 11
The market for high-end handsets is steadily increasingly in India. Subsequently, competition among big-ticket smartphones seems to be heating up after the launch of Samsung's Galaxy S5.
With Apple, Sony, HTC, Samsung and now LG battling it out, it is hard to find a new brand can even sustain in this fierce smartphone war. However, Chinese handset manufacturer Opp is thinking the other way round.
Oppo made a grand entry into Indian market earlier this year with its flagship handset, the N1. Even though the phone got rave reviews from the mainstream media, but the company found itself under fire for setting wrong pricing.
Now, once again, Oppo is all set to launch its latest flagship phone, the Find 7, into Indian market. The company had earlier confirmed that they would be launching the Find 7 in India sometime in the mid-2014, and now it appears that launch date is not far away. Today, the Chinese company has sent an official invite to attend the official launch of Find 7. The event will take place in Delhi on June 11.
Oppo Find 7 - Highlighted Specifications
The Oppo Find 7 is indeed a high-end device with a gorgeous a 5.5-inch LTPS display from JDI with Corning gorilla glass protection and Touch-on-Lens technology. The display offers quad HD resolution (2560×1440) pixels and churns out 538ppi pixel density.
It is powered by a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with a layer of Color OS 1.2 on top. The phone offers 3GB RAM under the hood.
There is a 13MP rear camera with Dual-mode LED Flash, Sony Exmor BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording along with a 5MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The impressive part is that it uses software enhancements to images at 50-megapixel (8,160 x 6,120 pixels) resolution by capturing. The camera is also capable of shooting RAW images and has 4K video recording.

The device comes with 32 GB internal memory unit which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In connectivity section, users will find 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG support as well. The device which measures 152.6x75x9.2mm and weigh 171 grams is powered by a 3000mAh battery with VOOC fast charging which is capable of charging the battery to 75% in 30 minutes.
The screen has Content Adaptive Backlight Control (CABC) system into the screen panel that reduces power consumption by reducing the brightness of the screen automatically.
No price for guessing, however, the Oppo Find 7 might come at an exuberant price. Since it would be the first phone in India with a 2K resolution, therefore, one should be prepared to shell extra cash for this monster phone. With high-end specifications, the Find 7 should (and only) compared with the LG G3, as both the devices have 2560 x 1440 displays.
