Panasonic Confirms Eluga Smartphones Coming to India Very Soon
Panasonic is gearing up to launch premium range of phones into Indian handset market. The Eluga range of smart phones, which were originally discontinued in Europe back in 2012, will be released in India. There are no details available when Panasonic plans to showcase the range in India.
Starting today, the company has stared teasing the new series with a tag line "Elegance for a new generation". Although the teaser poster may not answer all your questions, it does indicate that the next Panasonic phone shouldn't be taken for granted.

Panasonic had introduced its Eluga range in Europe in February 2012. The Panasonic Eluga, for instance, arrived with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, a dual-core processor, 4GB of on-board storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera without an LED Flash, Android Gingerbread OS, and a mere 1150mAh battery. Furthermore, it was released with water proof and dust resistant capabilities. Unfortunately, the handset failed to give Panasonic a new lease of life in Europe.
Since Panasonic is re-launching the series in India, GizBot expects the devices to be launched under the Eluga range may not cost on an exuberant side. One of the handsets under the new series could be priced around Rs. 15,000. At the moment, we've to wait for the right time to hear something big from the house of Panasonic.
Panasonic's last big phone, the P81, was released last month in India. The Octa-Core powered smart phone has been received well in the country, all thanks to the affordable price tag.
