Panasonic Eluga Smartphone Series India Launch Date Set For July 30
Panasonic, at long last, is set to launch the Eluga smartphone series with mid-range specifications. Invites were sent out late yesterday for a special launch event on July 30 in Delhi.
The electronics major has been teasing the launch of its Eluga series for months, and now it seems the end is near. Panasonic already sells feature as well as smartphones in the country since last year.

Panasonic's Eluga series is not new to the world. The Panasonic Eluga smartphone was originally launched back in 2012 in Europe. At that time it wasn't a commercial success nor critically praised. Thus, Panasonic had to discontinue the phone, citing negative reviews and steep pricing.
Panasonic is no more making smartphones for European users. The company presently focused on understanding Indian consumers. It is being widely believed that Panasonic's Eluga series might come with improved specifications and software integration keeping Indian consumers' in mind.
