Panasonic Launches T31 Dual SIM Smartphone Featuring Android 4.2 OS At Rs 7,990
After launching T11, T21 and P11 smartphones in the Indian market last month, Panasonic has launched one more device today. Dubbed as T31, the handset adds itself to the existing T series of handsets from the company.

Going by the specs, the handset comes packed with a 4-inch capacitive touch screen TFT display offering a WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It is also backed by 512MB RAM.
It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing shooter.
The device comes with a dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support with dual standby similar to other Panasonic smartphones. Connectivity options of the handset include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi direct, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS.
Panasonic T31 houses 4GB internal storage capacity out of which only 1.9GB is user accessible but it can be expanded up to 32GB using MicroSD card.
The device that measures 11.95 mm thick and weighs 120 grams draws its energy from a 1300 mAh battery. The battery is claimed to offer 510 hours (2G), 400 hours (3G) of stand by time and 3.5 hours (2G), 9.5 hours (3G) of talk time.
The new Panasonic T31 comes in Pure White and Bluish Black color variants and is priced at Rs. 7990. To add to the consumer delight this new device comes with a download offer wherein user can download latest music and videos from Hungama and can also avail a 3 months free subscription of top 8 India Today digital magazines all of which sums up to an amount of Rs. 3,000.
The device is listed on the company website but the availability of the device is not disclosed at the moment. But one can expect it to be available soon.
Competition
After going through the specs of the newly launched Panasonic T31, the device can be assumed to compete with smartphones like Nokia Lumia 520, Sony Xperia E, Micromax Canvas Music A88, Karbonn Smart A26 and Lava Iris 405 among others.
